Agreement

These terms and conditions govern your use of maatriks.ai, including the mobile app, website, and related services operated by Riverin OÜ.

By creating an account, tapping to accept, or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. The service is not directed to children under 16, and underage users may not create accounts.

Service description

maatriks.ai is a workout planning, logging, and feedback service. The service includes a mobile app and a public website.

  • The app helps users build workouts, log sessions, and review training history
  • Workouts, weights, exercises, and progressions are generated automatically by software from preset programs and your own answers and history; AI is used only to generate feedback and review text
  • Some features may change over time or vary by device, app version, or platform

maatriks.ai is a software tool. It is not a gym, a personal trainer, a coach, a physiotherapist, or a medical or healthcare service, and it does not provide any of those services.

Health, fitness, and AI disclaimer

maatriks.ai is for general informational, educational, and fitness purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation advice, or emergency support, and it is not professional training, coaching, or personal-trainer advice.

The workouts, weights, exercises, progressions, and feedback in the service are generated automatically by software — not by a certified personal trainer, coach, physiotherapist, or medical professional — and are general suggestions, not personalized professional advice.

  • You should check with a qualified trainer and/or a medical professional before acting on anything in the service, and before starting, changing, or continuing any exercise program — especially if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or have any injury, disability, or medical condition
  • You train at your own risk. You are responsible for using safe technique and appropriate equipment, and for working within your own limits, including using lighter loads than suggested when appropriate
  • Stop training and seek qualified professional advice if you experience pain, injury, dizziness, illness, or similar warning signs
  • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, generalized, or unsuitable for your circumstances; you must not rely on the service, including AI-generated content, as medical, professional training, or safety-critical advice, and should verify it with a qualified professional before acting on it
  • No specific fitness, body-composition, or performance outcome is guaranteed

To the extent permitted by law, you assume the risks inherent in physical exercise. Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Accounts and sign-in

You must provide accurate, current account information and keep your credentials and devices secure. Current sign-in methods include email/password, Google, and Sign in with Apple.

  • You are responsible for activity under your account
  • You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization
  • If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, we may receive basic profile details needed to authenticate you, such as your name, email address, and provider identifier. With Sign in with Apple, you can choose to share a private relay email instead of your real address

User content and workout data

You keep ownership of the content and data you submit to the service, to the extent applicable. This includes account details, onboarding answers, training preferences, workout logs, comments, support messages, and related inputs you provide through the service.

You give Riverin OÜ a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, reproduce, adapt, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service in a way that violates law or infringes the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, or data
  • Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the service
  • Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit the service beyond what applicable law permits
  • Use the service to transmit malicious code, spam, fraudulent content, or abusive content
  • Misuse AI-assisted features for harmful, deceptive, infringing, or unlawful purposes

Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication, analytics, AI processing, app distribution, and related technical services. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy practices.

Payments and subscriptions

The service is currently free to use, and there are no charges at this time. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, the applicable prices, billing periods, auto-renewal terms, and cancellation and refund conditions will be shown to you before you purchase, and any purchase will be processed and governed by the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), including its rules on auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds. We will update these terms before any paid feature becomes available.

Intellectual property and feedback

The service, including its software, branding, design, text, and other materials, is owned by Riverin OÜ or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

If you submit feedback, bug reports, or ideas, we may use them without restriction or compensation.

Availability and account deletion

You may stop using the service at any time. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for product changes, maintenance, security, or legal compliance.

You may delete your account through the in-app deletion flow. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, create security or fraud risk, or if we are required to do so by law.

Some information may be retained after deletion where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or compliance reasons. See our Privacy Policy and Delete Account page for more detail.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the service will meet every training goal or expectation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riverin OÜ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or use arising out of or related to the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

If you are a consumer, you have mandatory legal rights under the law of your country of residence that these terms do not affect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, website, or email. Continued use of the service after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you live, which continue to apply to you.

If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may be entitled to refer it to an out-of-court dispute-resolution body. In Estonia, this is the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet, ttja.ee). You can also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law allows.
